Ben's Guide - U.S. Government Web Sites for Kids & Students

A service of the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO), this site provides learning tools for K-12 students, parents, and teachers. These resources teach how our government works, the use of the primary source materials of GPO Access, and how one can use GPO Access to carry out their civic responsibilities. This site is arranged by topic, from animals to transportation, linking to U.S. government sources for grades K-12. You can also browse the listings by agency.

Kids.gov, the official kids' portal of the U.S. government, lists agency web sites designed specifically for kids. Many of these sites are educational and topics range from the arts to transportation, as well as links to "fun stuff."

An agency within the Department of Education, OVAE's web site is a one stop clearinghouse for information on high schools and explores a wide range of topics related to improving achievement for all of America's high school students.
